I don't mind if two or more choose the same rhyme but I'd prefer to see a wide selection and please let us know your nursery rhyme

First off many thanks for all entries, some nice interpretations here.
Just to say, in judging I've gone more for interpretation rather than technical ability and that it is just my opinion so I hope I don't offend.

Goosey Goosey Gander: A straight forward shot, good that the beak is open lifting the shot above the average.
...out came the sun...: This is a nice shot on it's own, not strictly the rhyme title but a good interpretation nevertheless
Along came a spider: Although I'm not going for technical ability I'd like to have seen a little more sharpness of the spider...just to make it more scary than it already is
Jack and Jill went up the hill: This made me smile immediately, well spotted and well composed, it fits the brief wonderfully, I can just imagine Jack and Jill having plodded up there
Sleep baby sleep: Ahhh......beautiful, i'm not familiar with the rhyme so thanks for introducing me to it.
This is a lovely shot and a good interpretaion, taken by someone who knows what they're doing, I'm sure the parents are thrilled with this
Pussy cat pussy cat....: This is a super interpretation, the cat has a very determined look, I wonder if the mouse survived?
Seven swans a-swimming: Part of the rhyme is ok, I think a crop of the trees and other birds would improve this and I'd like to have the birds coming into the frame rather than swimming out of it, even so a nice interpretation
Paul...: Another good interpretation here, he does look lonely. I think a little crop of the right to move the bird off centre would be better.
Thanks too for all the information
Piggy Banks: Another one that made me smile, lovely colours and I had to look twice to notice the baby pig, a perfect fit to the brief
Ladybird ladybird....: One of my favourite insects, and a favourite rhyme too. I'd prefer a closer view ..or even one of it flying :wink ...but I know how difficult THAT is, you did well to even get this shot

So......after changing my mind several times......a VERY difficult choice between the top three, my podium choices are:
1st place: 'Jack and Jill went up the hill' by Nomadic-Ninja
2nd place: 'Piggy Banks' by Noelcmn
3rd place: 'Sleep baby sleep' by JudithAnn
HC to 'Out came the sun' by i-berg
Thanks again for all your efforts folks and over to the Nomadic Ninja for the next one
Regards,
Michael

Thank you Michael, I have always liked that pic and it is good to see other people do as well.

It is actually one of the paths up to Glastonbury Tor.

My first entry and I won, I'm chuffed
