I know that I can use any 40.5mm filter, I just have an irrational loyalty to Hoya filters. I know that there are interesting, and dare I say it, better, filters out there - but it is Hoya all the way in this household.
As for sourcing, I have discovered that Amazon Japan's marketplace has more wallet friendly pricing for obscure 'retro' camera stuff than fleabay or any commercial outlets for used kit. Just need to be wary of shipping costs.
I fear my Q aside, has distracted from my actual question - are any old Hoya catalogues available online?

Thoughts have turned to filters. I was just wondering if anyone knows if the old Hoya catalogues (circa 1985 ish) are available online anywhere, only my google-fu is letting me down on this one.
(I'm also trying to work out what filters might be available for my, new to me, Q10)
Thanks in advance

But potentially more interesting is that Pentax are listed as an exhibitor! They are never there, really expected them to turn up for their 100th anniversary, but nothing. Just a "our products can be found on the following retailer's stands..."
After the '24 show which had a very big film photography zone, seminars on how to load 35mm film, lots of talk about the new Pentax film camera, I can sort of understand why Pentax have finally decided to attend. Or maybe the location change has tipped the balance?
I do expect their stand to pretty much be dedicated to the 17, with us digital Pentax users forgotten about.
Hopefully the food will be better than at the NEC, and can I set a new record for free cotton tote bags?

Interestingly the stand has zero Pentax branding visible, only Ricoh. Which surprised me - last time the show was at the NEC the 17 was absolutely everywhere. Thought they might trade on the success of the camera.
They also have some freebies - hidden away. You need to tag the 17 on Instagram to get a goody bag (cloth tote, badge, lens cloth and 17 branded sunglasses). However if you look like you are tagging the 17 they hand over a bag.
