Great lens: the "undisputed king of superzooms" (http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/p...tili-zoom.html)

I've already got me a 18-200mm Sigma so I wouldn't be interested in buying... However don't suppose you'd want to swap for my Sigma + cash?

I want to get something to take pictures of little things with an isolated background and I've seen tons of them going on the bay for 10-15GBP. So, there any real difference in these 'light cubes' as they call them?

I've sold a very few prints. First was a black and white seascape of Traeth Llyfn, which someone spotted on Trekearth and requested. It was taken on an istDL2. A few others via my sister's shop - mainly shot on an Olympus c5060!

Clicked the 2nd option. But should probably have answered 'pure hobbyist' as these were exceptional events!
Hrm, I guess there isn't an option for that. My bad. I suppose you could have choosen made money in the past - but I'd have said you were a prosumer based on selling some stuff in your sisters shop.

Looking at that video, I guess you're meaning videos made from filming photo's. Pretty neat.

Not sure I understand the question - you looking for stop-motion animation? (i.e. making a film out of many photos). If so: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2008/12/31/50-incredible-stop-motion-videos/

Basically it comes down to the number of bits on the memory cards. While a 32-bit number, in theory, can address 4GB worth of data ... it'd have to be an signed 32-bit number which is 2^32-1 (2 to the power of 32 minus 1) addressable bytes. So in reality, that's 1 byte short of 4GB - which can cause problems. I suppose it would be possible, but also unlikely that manufacturers would go this route. This is the same reason that why on newer computers if you have a 32-bit version of Windows that only 3GB of memory is useable.

I hope that makes sense, though it'll probably sound more like incoherent engineering babble

True enough - perhaps get them as 'gifts' or 'customer returns' ?

I'm quite curious to know about the usage demographics of the people here. So far, I've not made a penny, but I love photography. Anyways, feel free to comment / vote for the poll.

Edit: By regularly in the poll, I mean at least every 6-12 months.

Saw this on DPreview and thought I'd cross post it. I wish I had the cash, but alas, I'm tapped for now. 215GBP for a brand new FA 1.7x Pentax FA teleconverter. That's a damn good deal if you ask me!

Well, worst case I sell it and loose a few, but at that price I figured it was hard to lose much. Don't suppose that there is any market for old used film SLR cameras eh?

Can't wait!
