I used to change trains at Peterborough regularly and usually had time for a couple of pints in the Great Northern hotel bar just outside the station. Liz and I would drive over there from Lowestoft as it was a nice day out. Never suffered any ill effects
My worst town to visit was my old home town, North Shields, something always went wrong. Now I only visit for the funerals of old shipmates.

That's a result and a half! A really effective use of a texture, I love what it does to the water. Can I steal your photo of the table mat?
Of course you can "steal" it. I consider it a compliment that you would want to.

First photo, River Dee at Banchory, was taken with an Optio RX18

Second photo taken of a table mat in the Chatterbox Cafe, Banchory by accident and I'm pleased I didn't delete it

Combining both in CS5 gave this result

A bit blurred but I like the colours.

Thanks for the link Gareth, very helpful. Will look for something suitably decorative that Mrs Snap approves of.

When is the best time to re-pot an oak tree. I've grown this from an acorn and think it's ready for a bigger pot but don't want to disturb it until it is the best time to do so.

When you can't see the hill tops it's raining. When you can see the hill tops it's going to rain.
There's no such thing as "bad weather", just "the wrong clothes"
And wasn't I pleased I'd taken my lightweight "Heavy Weather" gear with me to Aberdeen last weekend
