Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I'm looking forward to learning more about Pentax and the K5 in paticular.
Cheers.

Hi Tramapas, welcome to the board, I am from Brighton, and like you new to here. Which gallery have you got your work in? I have just change from canon to Pentax (k7) and I very pleased with the camera and like yourself building up the lens collection is slow work if you are on a budget, but thats the fun of it when you change systems, I know I have made the right decision. You will find a lot help here on the board lot of knowlegible people and friendly I think!!! but dont mention full frame.

Thanks for the welcome, I'm looking forward to the learning curve...
The Ginger Moo Gallery in Crawley keeps a stock of my mounted prints, I keep meaning to find a gallery in Brighton that I can do busines with but having to work full time (not photography related) it's difficult. I'm also an committee member of the Mid Sussex Camera Club so time is short.
Now what was that about FF?

Well not so sunny today perhaps!
I've just bought into Pentax, having switched in part from well known 'minority' brand.
I've just bought a K5 twin lens kit for starters but have my eye on the 'Primes' which was a key factor in my decision to switch.
I'm an amateur, but do sell prints via my own website, I also have a small space in a local gallery that keeps a stock of mounted prints.
I'm looking to Pentax to deliver technically, I'm sure it will, so now I've only got to worry about the driver!
Cheers...

There is a photographic gallery at the Brighton marina called eclectia
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Brighton-United-Kingdom/Eclectia-Gallery/315076703... not sure how it works, I think she rents wall space, seems to be popular, maybe worth investigating! I hope this helps.
