Dear All..
i would like to ask you about K-x battery capacity..
this afternoon i buy Mahapowerex rechargeable batteries 2700mAh 4pcs..
on the internet, it said that you dont need to charge it first, because it's already fully loaded batteries.. so, i open the battery pack and put the batteries on my k-x.. i wait for 5 minutes before turning the camera on.. after 5 minute, i turn the camera ON, but nothing happened.. (i'm sure i've set the batteries correctly on my K-x), the camera's still off and the indicator still off too.. (i've used this batteries to my TV Remote, and it's works..)
i've been trying these steps too:
1). Set the battery mode into Automatic Mode (the camera still won't to turn ON with Powerex 2700mAh batteries)
2). Set the battery mode into NiMH Mode (the camera still won't to turn ON with Powerex 2700mAh batteries)
then i try to use my Eneloop 2000mAh rechargeable batteries on my K-x.. and they're works great! Several shoot (LiveView, Flash, Autofocus) and the battery indicator still green..
what's wrong?
1). the battery is broken?
2). the camera (Battery issues)?
3). or K-x only can used of maximum 2000mAH battery? (i've been search for this battery capacity on Manual Book, but i cant find the information about K-x maximum battery capacity)
please help me to solve this problem.. anyone?

Currently testing firmware v1.01 and so far it seems to tackle the battery issue successfully!
Batteries that previously not working (despite being new and freshly charged) now seem to work... or, at least I can turn the camera on and start shooting.
Let's see, but for the moment: thanks Pentax!!!
The K-x is a fabulous camera, and it would have been a shame having such disabling issue.
Should i go for FW v1.01????
(because on my k-x, the problem is only powerex 2700mAh.. Eneloop 2000mAh still can be used..)
