Actually I quite like the fact that the child is blurred, but still enough detail to see the expression. This is teh second time I have clicked to look at this and I think it has a lovely warm feel about it.
Nice lighting, was this with an off-camera flash?

I quite like the super sharp feel to this, it gives it a nice character. I prefer this to the colour pop version (but it is subjective) - I had some comments on a colour photo I posted that it would be better in mono, but I still prefer it in colour!
Can I make one final suggestion - I dont know whether it would be worth darkening the top of the sky slightly and the near foreground - I tend ...

It is well done, stands out, but can't help thinking that the colour pop it is just a little bit cheesy . I agree with Andrew that straight mono might have been better, particularly if it shows the texture on those boats.

I really like this - a great photo of something normally passed by. Great texture and nice DoF

Sorry, but I find there is something slightly strange about this photo as the colours in the sky which has a slightly grey-green tinge on this monitor whereas the reflection looks deep blue and with nice sunset-pink clouds. It looks like they were taken on two different days and combined - if this was the point of the photo then well done for achieving it technically and sorry I missed the poi ...

I have a picture from a similar point which I did in B&W. I cloned out the lights at the bottom of the columns.
I have my monitor set quite dark for printing to www.loxley.com and I found this image quite dark.
On the wide angle lens front, I stiched together a couple of shots to get everything in. I can recommend http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ which is free and very good for stitching p ...

I really like the use of a shallow DoF in a shot and this is great with the focus just in the right place! The colours just add the effect. like VOIVOD I am not normally into photos of flowers, but there is something about this one!

It looks very good - nice post processing.
Without being there I could be talking rubbish, but I do wonder whether the composition would have been slightly improved if the sign was to the left of the centre point, somewhere around the third position because it does somehow draw the eye. But then it might not look right because the road leads to a nice place on the horizon.
You did well i ...

A great reminder of how beautiful scotland is - when I first saw this I was thinking it was of far more exotic places! It looks like a straight shot (I guess you tweaked the levels) - I think sometimes as photographers we can be diverted by trying to create an initial impact. But this photo is long term - I wanted to look at it more and more.
I agree with Katie, the people in this picture ...
