I've been doing lots of studio stuff recently, however i find i need to change lens loads throughout the shoot.. And what i would really like is a lens that can do it all for me.

I've been looking at the Sigma 18-125 f3.8-5.6 DC HSM, and the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM... What are your thoughts on these?? and what other suggestions would you have??

Ok Sunday ive been asked to do a christening shoot for a family friend.
This will be the first shoot i have ever done solo, and i am also godfather. So if possible could i have some tips and advice please..

My kit.. K200 with 18-55, Tamron 70-300 and pentax f1.7 50mm

I would love to use the 50mm myself but as its not auto focus and im not 100% comfortable with it yet i think it might not be the best idea. Anyway what do you guys think?

Righty.. i take lots of pictures of insects, ants in particular. However i dont really have a macro lens that can get as close as i need to.. Do you guys have any suggestions that would allow me to take very good macro shots at close range without spending a fortune??

Hey guys thanks very much for the advise.. I managed to get myself a Pentax-A 50mm f1.7 off ebay.. paid a little over the price - £65, but im well happy with it.. In fact i think im gonna be using this as my main lens for some time so i can get used to the manual focus.. It really is a top class lens.. Thanks again guys

Im just starting to get into photography this year. I've got myself a K200d with the basic 18-55 and a Tamron 70-300mm. And also an old K1000 film camera. Im looking to get an old 50mm lens thats going to fit both cameras, idealy a f/1.4 lens Does anyone know where i might be able to get one?? And roughly what kind of price im going to be looking at?
