Looking to sell this classic 6x7 MLU with the SMC 105/2.4 and it's TTL prism

It is not a mint condition collectors piece as can be seen from the pictures

It's been well used, I got that square Tak hood for it specifically because I think it looks all kinds of bad ass

Optically great condition, those things you see there on the screen and prism are light reflections not scratches.

I replaced the seals a while back, it's perfectly light tight and the seal around the prism is good and tight, one of those little spike thingies is missing, this does not affect operation.

Meter and shutter is on the money as far as I can tell.

Asahi body cap, generic 67mm lens cap, sorry haven't got any spare rear lens caps. That op/tech strap is included, It's nice.

Battery is fresh.

This is a lovely camera. I like the patina but it might not be to everybody's taste. Have tried to photograph from every angle to show off what it looks like.

Asking £220

Can drop this off close the M4 between jct 16 and 36 on a fairly regular basis.

Got some more SMC 6x7 glass as well, will take some photos.

That was the one I was looking for, thanks Hefty1
I too shot a lot of (mainly E-06 and B&W) 120 film.
I have a standardised process for B&W at home and send the slide stuff to a lab.

No that was not the one, but thank you.

B&W I can do myself easy, I cannot be bothered to do C41 and E06 though, besides at £1.95 a roll, ok around £3 each once you factor in VAT and postage, even then. Using Tetenal E06 kits for instance it would still not make economic sense.

Argh, I can't remember, they had some funny name like Gecko print or something, I found a place called Gecko 55 design studio but that was not it.

Heh, I did just find this

Handy if you just want C41 done I guess but I was mainly looking for cheap E06 processing

Hi, not long ago I saw a link in a thread, I believe here in the 35mm SLR forum, for a place on the internet that along with doing digital prints and what not also processed E06 or C41 35mm or 120 rolls for £1.95 a pop. Now I am not expecting great results, but that would be excellent for some pinhole madness and well, plain trying it out won't hurt, if they do a tidy job then I would send them oodles of rolls.

BUT, now I cannot find the link anymore, I have searched all morning now, if one of ya'll remembers please could you repost it in this thread?

Yeah I did call them, they don't do them.
Calumet was very snarky and said 'Well why would we hire out lenses for a camera that isn't made anymore?'

Hello from another south walian

Added you as a Flickr contact also
Thank you, I'm afraid there is not much to look at there.
But as I said one of these days... I will get around to scanning some slides and putting them up.

Hi,

Any of ya'll know of a place that hires out 67 lenses? I'd like to hire a 400 ED or 600 ED to take up to this spot where I can see really far out over a landscape and do some compressed shots with it.

I've looked on SRS website but they seem to only hire out stuff meant for digital.

Just saw this whilst cruising around your forum here..
Now that.. Is.. Dead sexy! I want one!
I peeled the skin of a hassy 503 that was not so pretty no more once and stuck on a red leather kit (I like red leater, not in a kinky way just on cameras, yeah ok maybe it is a bit kinky) from some place in the states, that looked well nice but I sold it later.

I would love to try to do one of the lotus ones in BRG and yellow leather. Unfortunately I am a klotz at painting.

I might get some more ME supers and get creative with some small brushes and model paint or something like that, I think I'll start by practicing on some of my plastic lomo gear though.

Welcome Jan, looking forward to seeing your work.
Thank you.
Yeah about that, I've never really uploaded a lot of work to the interwebs, I do have a scanner but have never gotten around to scanning a lot. sadly a lot of my stuff never really makes it past the acetate sleeves after being looked at on the light table or contacts that end up in a box.

I have a flickr account, and a few shots on there that I think are actually worth looking at, like these three;

http://www.flickr.com/photos/snip747/4389708980/in/photostream/lightbox/

Coincidentally only one of those were exposed in a Pentax camera, the last one, shot that with my K10D, I think it is ok seeing as how it was shot through like half an inch of Lexan.
The kodachrome one was shot with a Voigtlander Bessa R3M and the 6x7 one there was shot in a battered old Linhof technical camera.

I do have loads of slides and negatives and eventually will get around to learning how to scan properly and get some stuff up.

I tried going digital, bought a Canon 5D and a load of L glass back in 2007, didn't really do it for me. I have the K10D for snapshots here and there when I can't be bothered to lug around my MF gear, but that is more often than not left back in favor of the MX and ME.

But as I said, someday I will get some stuff up and viewable that might actually be worth looking at.
