Love the image and the story. As an aside, i really enjoy doing jigsaws. I have one, the picture is very similar to you yours...it may have even been taken from the same place as yours. But tell you what, its not a patch on your image.

brilliant. should have been 4 horses though!!

nice image, but reminds me of Cerys Matthews...and i cant stand her!!

Stunning!! Been looking at it (large) for about 20 minutes, trying to figure it out...the angles i mean. Are they steps? Is the dark orange wall set back from the lighter coloured orange wall. The left hand side of the "window" part of the wall at the top, yet the join above the "sill" looks like it should go in a different direction. I find it very Escher-esque. A very simple, clean image, ...

I had to do a double take here....i didnt see it at first! The various bridges with the modern diesel train, against a backdrop of of the lego style byker wall, and the curves of the sage....and then the Tornado, blending in perfectly with the roofline of the modern diesel. Great shot, i really like it. You must be either:- A. Very happy with this, or B. Gutted that the modern diesel decid ...

And very nice it is too. The watch and the image.

Superb. I really like this...i love to see great images of Penshaw Monument. If you were to go up the steps, and down the other side, you will come to Old Penshaw Village. My parents were married in the church there, and i was born just a few streets down from there. When i worked away, i knew i was home when i could see the Monument. Thanks for this one.

Thats a great shot. Has a tag on its right leg.

Looks like whitby.

just about every time when the question is asked "which one"?, i find the first one i see is the "right one"....probably because that is my point of reference. I looked at the landscape one first and liked it, and read the comment so looked at this one. And you know what, i like this one better. As alfpics says, more plant on show, and fills the frame more naturally. i like it.
