Surfing was my passion. For many years it was a source of unlimited joy and fulfilment. It all changed after a back surgery in 2001, which later would interfere with my physical ability to continue with surfing. So, in 2011, out of curiosity, some spare money and because I have always been drawn to photos of surfers, I decided to take up photography, perhaps in an attempt to fill the gap left by surfing. Soon I found out that I could get the same kick, the same excitement, as I did get with surfing.

Since then, photography has become my main passion and a way to express my emotions, my thoughts and to expose the many challenges that our society is facing.
Through the different types of photography, I found a way to challenge my creativity and to remind myself what is truly important in my life.

My curiosity has taken me through different types of photography, from landscape to street, and wedding photography. In 2016 I took an HNC in photography to consolidate my knowledge and to step further into the world through the lens. I have been a member of the Royal Photographic Society since 2016.
