Very clever to have the two focal points with the large gap between to give a great sense of space; it breaks all the 'rules' of composition but because it works that's what makes it special.

A lovely evocation in words and picture but, why oh why black and white? Early morning light on lavender and olives, the Impressionists will be turning in their graves! Come on, we know you have the colour version somewhere.
