Thanks for the welcome .. camera and lenses have arrived .. just the slow wait for the batteries to charge . Got the Pentax SMC DA 17-70 F4 and to start off with the DA 35mm F2.4 AL.

As for tweaking i already had elements 8 .. but that didn't support the ACR for my fuji RAF files.. so i have now got elements 10 ..with lightroom 4 hopefully tomorrow .
Time will tell as i didn't realise it was such a huge leap settings wise etc .

Good Morning from Gravesend , Kent UK.
I am a little bit premature in posting as i am awaiting my new K5 . It is due at some point today, along with other goodies . I see from the tracking it is in Kettering at the moment ... not close enough for me .

I have been using a Fuji s200EXR Bridge camera for the last 2 years , so this will be a huge change for me .Although i have been using manual on that for 99% of shots (apart from focus which was a real pain) I was considering the new sony SLT A65 as well but had concerns over the build quality .
So here is me .. and i hope to be posting as soon as the battery is charged (i have already browsed through the K5 manual online )
