Now to your problem. Have you tried the next things first.
1# set af mode to af-s (single)
2# set focus point to central af only.
3# before releasing the shutter watch the green focus conformation
in the viewfinder to light up.
4# work from a tripod to make sure slow shutter speeds aren't the issue hear.

blurry pictures aren't solvable, mostly. But be free to post a jpeg with exif attached so we can look in a bit deeper, to see what is the problem.
