Very interesting post, I have a DA*300mm and the A*600mm that I use with a 1.4XL Rear converter TC. I love the DA*300mm for BIF's and the A*600mm (840mm with a 1.4XL) for stationnary birds. I am looking right now at the DA*200mm as it would work with the 1.4XL TC (This TC is very good with no loss of IQ but fits only a limited number of lenses. Here are a few pictures taken with the A*600mm
