What a cracking shot! Slightly soft focus on the nose and muzzle, but to me, the eyes are everything in this shot and they are pin-sharp. Superb!

Nice movement in the blades and a dramatic sky, but better looking than a pylon? I'm not so sure. These things are becoming so common they are a blight on the landscape...and the power companies are erecting more bloody pylons to extract the power from the remote and (previously beautiful) sites.:evil: Sorry - I got a wee bit carried away there :oops: - good shot!

Regardless of the same colours in the background, this is still a striking image.

Bet it made him 'owl with pain. (sorry :oops:) Lovely shot. It really captures the moment. You can almost see the annoyance in the owl's expression.

At first glance, the colours appear over-saturated but given the subject, it works just fine. Lovely image.

Superb shot - Makes me want to go there. It might work a wee bit better with fewer people (or even none) in the background.

A slightly awkward pose by the subject, but otherwise, I think this is superb image.
