Tomorrow I am shooting a guy on a horse. He wants shot of him galloping on the horse and then a few shots of the horse riding through a shallow river.

Is the DA50 135 up to the job? Ive always used the Sigma 150 500 but want the sharpness and 2.8 of the DA 50 135 glass.

Does anyone still shoot by focusing on a specific place manually and then just firing off lots of shots in continuous?

Im sure it will be fine tracking some subjects but by reading some of the reports on the internet it makes the DA lens out to be dung.

Any thoughts?

As some of you may know I go around photographing people and hear their story

Here is retired lady and her dog Angus. I forget what type of Spaniel he was. If anyone knows drop me a line.

I hear what you guys are all saying but I think I think there are some really ornate knockers ,old style buttons and letter boxes out there.

Unfortunately photographing the entire door detracts because you cannot see the details

Im glad some of you are really liking the HONI project

Thanks guys..

I hear what you are saying Alan about the glasses but its hard to get strangers to pose. They dont have time and Im just thankful for the capture. You say you like number 2 and yet its my least favourite because of the "over the top" eyes.

Number 3 is nailed right in the glasses which is a common problem at times but Im happy with the photo.

I think the girl with the black and white lippy works really well in mono but accept that the other girls look better in colour.

Cheers

Experimenting with black and white and tighter crops. A few different edits for you to mull over

All thoughts gladly received
