Reportedly the rarest Pentax ever made - this one is in near perfect condition, with no brassing, dents or damage. I'm selling it with a matching 55mm lens - but I also have the very rare 58mm Sonnar lens which I might be talked into selling as well. I don't have a case for the "S", but I'm thinking that whoever buys it will be displaying it anyways......

Email for more information.

I've just found this site, and decided that since my collection of cameras and lenses seems to keep growing and growing, and my focus is Pentax (pun intended), that I would join. I've been interested in Pentaxes since I was a kid - my dad's one and only camera was a Spotmatic, and my mom used an ESII. A few years back, I got bit by the collecting bug, and I began to acquire vintage cameras. I picked up an original AP "S" with a 55mm, along with a Tessina L at a thrift store. I found a Voigtlander Bessa II with the Heliar, a Kodak Stereo, two or three Olympus XAs (one is the XA4 with the Macro), and a Rollei 35 T and an S. I also seemed to run into a fair number of Pentax lenses. The best "find" was a camera bag at a thrift store that had a bunch of Pentax glass in it - and I had no idea of what I was buying when I shelled out the 50 bucks for them. The collection included an 85mm 1.8, a 14mm SMC Fisheye, and a 50mm F4 Macro. The 58mm F2 Sonnar, 100mm F4 Macro and 50mm 1.4 were all pretty good catches too. My lens collection keeps growing and growing, and I picked up a K-01 to put them to use. Last week I found a 400mm 5.6 M series, so now I guess I have to find some birds that will hold still long enough to catch them in photos. I do have some lenses that I would be willing to part with - not sure if thats ok on these forums, and where it would be appropriate if its allowed.....Anyways, hi again to all. I hope to be able to learn from all of your wisdom.
