Hello from Canada. Nice lens... I have the F* 600mm version here in Vancouver. I wasn't sure from your post if you have already purchased your Wimberly, or if it is on your shopping list. I have an original Wimberly and my opinion is that you can't really appreciate a lens like this without a gimble head. If you are still shopping, take a look at this site for an alternative. http://www.jobu-design.com/index.html They sell a variety of gimble head which seem to get good reviews. I don't have one from this brand, but a co-worker ordered one today. So I should get to try one out in a week or so.
