A 300mm f2.8 with a good quality teleconvertor would do the trick for me. Although given how low some of the kites fly over the cottage would even get some good ones with a 70-200 with a little cropping on ff.

I can only go through what I have seen on eBay as far as price is concerned. They appear to have ranged from £580 to £650 depending on shutter count. I can let it go for £600 if you are interested.

Lukhash - I can let the Tamron 70-200mm and 72mm filter go for £420 and the Pentax 135mm for £125 with UV filter.

Bill - I dug out the receipts from my safe. The year or two is actually closer to to 2. I purchased the camera on 30 May 2015. The only real sign of use, besides the shutter count, is the usual minor wear a camera may get. On this one you will see it is on the "OK" and "Info" buttons below. everything else looks as new. As for providing confidence in the purchase, I have been a member of the pentax forum of our brothers over the seas for a while but not this forum. Unfortunately, I am unable to give you any more confidence than a member who may have been on here for a number of years but is only selling for the first time. The camera has been well looked after and still takes wonderful images. I am happy to receive offers based upon that and payment via paypal if that helps. The camera comes with the waterproof remote as I cannot see the point in selling them separately.

I am selling this kit, with sorrow in some ways, as I have really enjoyed using it over the last year or 2. Pentax lenses create some great pics. However, I holiday in Wales a lot and need a camera with faster focus to catch more keepers of the beautiful Red Kites there, so I am selling my soul and getting a full frame Nikon.

Tamron 60-200mm f2.8 - Excellent condition. Slight wear on tripod mount and slight scuff of lens hood, but lens is optically excellent. Love this lens, it is great, will be sad to see it go. Below is a link to some images taken with this lens:

Tamron-Adaptall-2-SP-60-300mm-f-3-8-5.4 (23A) - Excellent condition with original caps and hard carry case. This link has some of the pictures I took with the lens. It does macro as well and goes easily into macro mode, good quality lens well built, some described it as a bag full of primes:

Tamron Adaptall PKA, PK/A Lens Mount - This is for use with the 2 Tamron Adaptall lenses. It is the one that allows the lens to be used in AV mode etc. transferring the aperture data to camera.

Tamron SP BBAR MC 2xTeleconvertor - I found this in a bag at a thrift shop. Not in great condition but if the inners are removed will make for a great extension tube for the Tamron Adaptall 60-300mm!

Tamron Adaptall-2 200mm F/3.5 Model 04B - This is a good prime lens in excellent condition. Comes with original caps and hard case all in mint condition. Link to an example snapshot I took:

SMC Pentax-M 50mm f1.4 - Highly rated lens. Below is a link to some images I have taken. You will see it takes nice portrait images. I am not sure if there is an issue with it as is seems a bit soft at lower apertures, given the clear images at lower apertures someone with experience should be able to deal with this:

Promaster 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5 Spectrum 7 - This was an unexpected find. It is in excellent condition, sharp and renders colours well. See the examples in this link and judge for yourself:
