Thanks for your comments, I will try to process the raw file (this was a jpeg from the camera) to see if I can improve it a bit

One of my first shots with the Pentax 35mm, slightly edited in Iphoto, I was quite pleased with the results.

Hi all, I joined a few days ago and I think It's time to introduce myself.
My name is Pilar, I live in Scotland and I received my Pentax K5 and a 70mm limited lens from SRS on Monday (great service by the way).
I have taken a few practise shots and I am very impressed so far, I have a lot to learn though, I am quite new to photography as well.
