Hi everyone. Although I have been interested in Photography for many years I am still very much a beginner. I have recently purchased a Pentax K-r and have not looked back.

For me taking photographs is not about trying to get the ultimate picture or taking shots to make money, it is about doing something that puts a smile on my (otherwise grumpy) face. Hopefully as my skills get better my smile will get bigger.

I tend to have a sway towards black and white images as will become obvious as I start to build up my gallery. I have posted a few images to get started.

I am looking forward to chatting with you all on here and hopefully gain some good pointers and advice from you all. From reading through the forum I can already see there is a lot of great feedback given and can't wait to become part of the Pentax community.
