My father was a pro photographer but it was never more than a hobby to me until recently. I retired from the slackening Carpentry trade after almost thirty years and decided to take up photography as a career, following the advice of family and friends. I am currently studying a Lancaster University FdA degree in Photography and Digital Design at Blackpool and The Fylde College. Having learned the basics with an MX years ago, my instinctive choice was to get another Pentax - and it seemed like waiting forever until the K-5 was launched in the UK. The wait was worth every minute...!
