Cracking portrait, really like it. Great tones, and the all important eye contact. (Albeit with just one eye!) Why has this one been overlooked? Not a steam train, a dandelion or a bird I guess! Only minor crit is there is a lot of space up top. I think this could be cut down slightly.

These guys should be the next Doctor Who monsters!

I didn't care for the previous 'farewells' image, but bringing that image into this shot in this way is very interesting. You are building a narrative. I think the 'painting' needs to be given a slightly more reflective look and pick up the uneven lighting on the wall (perhaps with the lighting effect filter?) Very interesting stuff John. And great to catch a glimpse inside 'Riley Towers' ...

Marvellous capture, the clouds are very atmospheric.

Gorgeous shot.

Bravo

Makes a very surreal image (like something from the inner recesses of Richard Dawkin's mind) I would like to visit Barry Island, seems like a fertile hunting ground for interesting shots.

Nice shot. Nice boat! I love ditchcrawling.

Excellent as usual - focus, composition, tones and mood are wonderful.

Some of the previous photos aren't straight, Xeoboy, although this one looks fine (the boat is listing slightly but that's not your fault!) I will try and put Jackitec's comment more helpfully: the usual etiquette is to reserve the gallery for your *finest shots, and to upload them one at a time or in a very short sequence of two or three shots. This is not a 'rule' but it's just polite not ...
