If one calculates the age of an SP-F in human years it probably turns your father-in-law into a junior citizen!! Did he appreciate being called "Stonehenge"?
Thinks: perhaps I should blow the dust off my SP-F!!
Nice shot, by the way!

No need to hate rain when it helps to give you shots like this!!

Would have been nice to have known something about the location but, I guess, the lack of just increases the intrigue. Peaceful.

I'd like to have seen the camera lowered just a tad but I'm sure this result has encouraged you to take more low light shots.

Love it! The text in the shot sends a message to me. I was recently taking shots of the European Parliament building in Brussels but was too conservative to tilt the camera upwards. My wife, who takes a photo as often as the moon turns blue, took over the camera and put me to shame. The message? Look up!

Personally, I like both versions! I feel that the dark areas should remain dark in order to frame, and thus emphasise, the moving element of the subject.
Yep, does it for me.

One of my favourite places to take photos, but I obviously overlooked these colours!
Nicely seen.

Sadly, I find that missing eye most disturbing, which is a shame because it is nicely lit. Having said that, the two highlights in the girl's eyes also look a little strange. However, I'm sure you're going to post some beautiful portraits in future.
