Struggling myself with technique, but found out that if you use just a little fill in flash it could help pick out items in the foreground when doing landscape. Yet to try this myself, but it could pick out those horizontal bars. However I very much enjoy this quirky pic just the way it is.

I like your experiment. I prefer this one, but I always do prefer the texture of these type of shot and it works well here. The soft shades are beautiful.

I appreciate both cooments above...and I like this photo without girl on the right I Agree. I've tried some shots on this bridge, but got nothing as good as this. Tip Top! (The pigeon is great too).
