Outstanding shot of cormorants! Agree with Paul about cropping.

Agree with all above about the clouds, they enhance the perspective and the windmill is also visible enough in the perspective. Paul is right, the pylon is better to be done with. Great B/W shot!

Has it arrived already? That's a nice shot with warm colours and shape agaist the black background!

I like the compo, the snow and the precious light here, although a bit dark!

This is an absolute return, Andrew. Love the clouds, rocks and hills appear coverging out of the frame on the right.

Paul, you're still sailing those dangerous waters! Don't insist on it, it can turn out to be an obsession. Hope you'll return safe and sound.

Thank you for sharing the link, Andrew. Enjoyed them with envy. You're so right, the light is terribly crucial and I should add the sky which is void blue most of the time over here, unless there's rain coming and that is very very rare at this time of the year.

Must be from a bromeliad family. Not easy but impressively sharp everywhere!

What an unusual view! I like the contrasting colours above the dark line and the silhouette of Ireland! However, there seems to be interesting details, like seagulls, on the rocks in the foreground. Lightening the shadows might reveal the rocks and birds on them better; but that's a matter of choice, of course.

Welcome back Andrew! Very lovely light, indeed; and the compo is also very lovely!
