Yes I have read the manual, but I don't read French too well!
I have a disc manual in Brit-speak, but the page numbering system is non existent! I'll search for the phrase. Aperture ring..

I tried your tip HG, and although the dust vanished, there was a tiny black v almost in the middle of the display. There doesn't seem to be any problem with the pics I make with the camera, so I assume this is some kind of anomaly.

Is this the place to ask about lenses?
My K200D is supposed to be compatible with the old lenses I used on my SLRs.

So I must be doing something wrong, because I can't make the camera take a picture, when I have a manual focus lens on it. Is there something I have to set on the camera?

I suppose someone will say RT Flippin' M, but I have, and can't find Manual lenses mentioned. Does anyone know how this goes?

Hi Folks,

I have been using Pentax for about 25 years now. Just had my first Pentax Digital. a 200D. I have only had it for a few months, already there's a lot of dust on the sensor, (According to the dust device.) I wonder if the dust alert mechanism actually puts dust on. )

Anyhow, I like the camera a lot, and it seems to do a nice job, except I can't really try it out until I can leap around like a young 'gazentelope' again. Shouldn't be long now. NHS allowing!

So nice to meet you all and I hope to learn a bit and make some friends.
