I've been shopping for a telezoom lens for my GX10. Need opinions on 2 particular lens,

Tokina AF 24-200 F3.5-5.6 AT-X 242 AF, and
Sigma 70-300 APO

Has anyone have any experience on both lenses?

It actually wouldn't lock in, it seemed that the lens the lens mount is half mm higher than it should be.

What is a simple k lens? Do you mean there are different kinds of k mount lenses? I thought a k mount would just be a k mount.

I just examined the lens mount very closely. Since it's metal construction, there is no sign of any damage to me.

Thanks for the quick reply. Both GX10 and the lens have red spots. But no matter how I align them it would not fit.

I've been trying hard to find something similar on the internet without any success. Just wonder whether I could post pictures on this forum, that way someone might point out what the problem might be.

Hi there,
This is my first post on this site.
I just bought a s/h sigma pentax k mount lens but having trouble mounting on to my GX10. The lens seems to be half mm from fitting into the mount. Is there a particular way to mount k lens? Or is it just because it is a 3rd party lens? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
