Right nice portrait with just enough other detail to give it context. It could be up there! I'd probably remove about 50% of the space above his head but that's just me. It is a beauty. Going to print I assume?

Thank you all, i myself am torn between the 2. Composition I think this wins, Star effect, the other. Guess it means im going to have to have another try :) I'm agreeing with you.
I like the lead in of the path but..........the grass, it's a bit too bright for me, fighting for my attention with the main event in the middle and top of the picture. If I were lucky (clever) enough to have created ...
