I am using a ds at the moment, and was going to put the 2nd one in use.
But would I be better up grading one of them or just stick with what I have?

I have a new ist ds still sealed in the box i got a while ago to have as a spare.
So my question is at this stage would i be better off selling it and buying one of the new cameras?
or is it not really worth selling at this stage?

I got an email yesterday 21st June that the flash has just been shipped.
It was ordered on the 12th of Feb., at the time I hadn’t realised its status was indicated as "longer delivery". One of the reasons I posted was to see what experience other people had with them so I appreciate the reply. The items which I received were all perfect and well packaged. Maybe I was just unlucky with the delivery time.

As some of you are aware I ordered an ist ds from www.topvisionshop.com which I didn’t receive until the 23rd of March.
Just to keep anyone thinking of using them informed.
After several emails about the AF-360 FGZ which was on the same order I was informed on the 27 April that they don’t even have a delivery time for it.
I had planned on ordering other items from them but at this stage I definitely won’t be.


Just something to keep in mind.

I am in Ireland and the saving on the camera body alone was around €400 over buying it here. I know there is a risk with all shipping but with this saving I thought it was worth the risk.

FYI I finally received my order yesterday (23rd march) even though i havent recived shipping confirmation yet.
The ist ds, the 18-55 da lens and the sd card arrived but not the AF-360 FGZ so I have to contact them again.
So my experience with topvisionshop.de so far is

Very good prices on some items
Very well packed for delivery
Hard to get information about the order after 1st week
Ordered on the 14.02.2006 received on the 23.03.2006
Price drop in items between ordering and shipping were not passed on
Full order was not shipped and no information on missing item

This is my once off experience with topvisionshop.de it may or may not be a true reflection of their service

I got the order confirmation on the 14th.
The camera is showing as available.
I havent got a shipping confirmation yet.
I e-mailed them on wensday but havent got a reply yet.
I can try give them a ring.

I have decided on the DS2 body inc. shipping it works out at £432.88 from the U.S. Before I order it has anyone any experience or advice on buying cameras in the U.S.

I only came across this site this week and I have to say in the searching I've done so far there is a lot of useful info and nice people here, I've even discovered a few things about the other cameras I have p30t and ist 35mm (btw I got the ist in Australia I seem to travel for my cameras).
