This is one strange image!

Nice and it's another 'Accidental Wes Anderson Photo'! Cheers Mike

Hi Guilo, well htere's really quite a difference between the two versions! I downloaded both versions as 'Full Size' and can just flip between the two in my image viewer. For myself I much prefer this version, the contrast is much more subtle and the grain is beautifully smooth. By comparison the version from the film (negative) scan is much more contrasty and there seems to be edge arc ...

You have captured the spirit of Wales, great image! Mike

Hyper-hyper-realistic-artistic!

Brilliant full size!

Great shot, spot on focus on the eye.

Thanks for your explanation I'd not thought about the sensor heating up!

Yes but nowhere near as obvious as it is to the the naked eye! Must be a difference between how our eyes work compared to photography. Closer inspection reveals many faint subtleties. Interesting What's the advantage of stacking images rather than one longer exposure? Are there any disadvantages?

Very creative, looks like a metallic mountain range.
