Having been out of photography for some years I’m now trying to understand all the new technology. Previous experience was with film and the K1000 many years ago. This years purchase was the K5, it appears the only thing it won’t do is make coffee!
My query is with regards to Macro Ring Flash.
Do I go for LED or tube light flash.
Do I need to stick with Pentax ring flash or with Tamron compatible ring flash, I use a Tamron 90mm macro lens.
Don’t need intense flash light as I will only use it for Macro work.

Please help as I need to write to Father Christmas soon!
Best regards to all.

K5 something loose inside!
When composing a subject ready to take a picture in landscape I then change to portrait before take the picture, something inside my Pentax K5 appears to slide from one end of the camera to the other. If I reverse the scenario the same happens with something inside sliding back the other way. Is this a design feature associated with the camera identifying which way is up or do I have a problem?

Yes, thanks 'johnriley' for information, I’ve already E-mailed JP Solutions but without any response. I’ll give them another go!

Where do I go to have warranty repair/service for my UK Amazon supplied Pentax K5?

Thanks for all your comment, I’m new to Digital Photography as a result of a Christmas present (K5 with standard lens 18-55mm) and new to the ‘User Club’.
However I’m not new to birding as a member of the RSPB and would like the appropriate lens. Your comments appear to point me in the right direction and to this end will be going to the ‘Imaging exhibition’ at the NEC Birmingham this March. Hopefully there may be exhibition special offers. Wish me luck. Thanks again.
