Great condition and a very sharp copy of this incredible value for money 50mm prime lens. Prior to obtaining an FA 77 this was my go to portrait lens in addition to being used for a wide variety of photographic styles and subjects. It's my workhorse prime and every Pentax user should own one.
I adore it !

Bit of internal dust as is typical but it's never detectable in any image ever as every photographer knows. And there's a hairline crack on the focus distance perspex, it's barely visible in the picture and looks more like a fine scratch but it is there, obviously it doesn't effect the lens in anyway. No idea how it appeared as it's never been dropped or bashed and I've owned it from new. Purchased 18 months ago from SRS.

Comes complete with Pentax rubber collapsible hood. Front and rear caps.

Collection in person from South East London or I can come into town. Really don't want to post....

Selling my newer k5 and the other lenses in my sig on other posts too Will consider a package deal on the whole lot.

Thank you for the additional information Algi, it sure is a very special lens and as many who part with their Limiteds I'll be sad to see it go. I'm keeping my first K5 body and the kit lens as a kids in the park camera but everything else in my sig needs to find a nice new home.

Hiya, I can confirm it has no green wart and sadly it came to me without a leather pouch.

Beautiful example of this amazing Pentax Limited lens.It has a serial number below 16000 and I think this suggests that this version is a different optical formula from later ones and is regarded as the best the production runs.

In fantastic condition with only the tiniest (barely visible) of dinks on the silver lens hood. No fungus, no haze, no scratches. This lens has created some wonderful work for me and I'll happily forward examples of the photography made with it.

Comes with original box, papers, front green velvet lined and rear caps.

I am also selling my K5 with a selection of great lenses including another two Limiteds and would consider a package price for the complete kit. But I'll put up a separate ad for that

Auto aperture version of the much loved manual focus lens. Bought from original owner last summer whom I'm told never used it.Occasionally a bit stiff to click into A mode but I'm guessing it's 20 years old. I've mounted it twice but can't ignore the auto focus luxury of my FA 50 1.4.

Mounted on a Pentax DSLR it is obviously manual focus but it meters and you can control aperture just as you would a modern lens.
A beautiful barely used example. No fungus, scratches or haze. Few specks of dust.

Original rear cap and non-original front but it does fit.
