i have a k200d camera, it will not switch on but when i turn the dial to on i can hear it clicking, have tried new batteries, any ideas what the problem could be

hi
does anyone know if it is possible to get an attachment which you can add to the viewfinder so that it magnifies the image in the viewfinder as i am having problems trying to focus when looking through the viewfindwer
i was told you could get them but every shop i have been to say they dont do them

no, the problem is the piece that fits onto the bottom of the camera that is then attached to the tripod is missing,

i have a miranda pro 3 tripod which was used for a video camera, i need an attachment so that i can use it with my pentax k200d camera, does anyone know where i can source one,

i have been searching for more lens for my k200d camera and have found several on ebay, but not sure what is the difference between lens which state pentax-a and pentax-m, they both state they are k mounted bayonet fittings,

thanks for all the advice posted, this has helped a lot, i am usually thick skinned but i was feeling as if i had bought a camera i would never be able to master, when i bought my last camera i was shown how it worked and never has any problems,

im dyslexic so understanding the manual is a bit of a problem, so was looking for any general advice not ridicule.

do have a slr camera, was able to use this ok, i knew how use the aperture rings to change the depth of field, the new digital lens has not aperture ring and the old lenses off my slr camera are being set to `A` so am not sure how to set the aperture to change the depth of field now
