I Like this the out of focus chap brings on a feeling I have had many times, that sort of fuzziness you get after over indulgence. Things can only get better, where have I heard that before? Great shot.

I like the softness of this shot, but I think I would crop off some of the dead space either side, and also try it against a darker background, just a thought. Still good for a first try though.

At least doing it by hand it keeps you warmer, like Laurel and Hardy said chop your own fire wood and warm your self twice.

That's a cracking shot, I wouldn't know where to start with HDR, but if this is what you can obtain by using it I better start reading and trying.
