On thing I forgot to ask, is the same true for filters.

Are they a standard size or asre there specific one for the k fit lenses?

The only reason I ask about the lenses is that I just tried a lens from a Canon eos 10, purely for the purpose of determining whether lenses have a standard size. They did not fit, is this because they are different makes of equipment or is it because the difference in age of the two components.

I did think that the newer lenses would not work because of their electronic features.

So any lens except the FA-J and DA lenses will work, what do you think the chances of my finding authentic lenses that are from a simliar time of manufacture to the camera?

Sorry if these questions are a bit basic but this is all new to me.

I have just been given an old Pentax mv camera, unfortunately the Film Rewind Crank and the Film Rewind Knob / Back Cover Release is missing, the spindle to screw the missing part on is still intact though.

Does anyone know whereI can find a replacement for this?

Preferably it would be an authentic one, but anything that will make the camera usable would do.

Also are lenses a standard size? If I bought a modern lense for the camera would it fit?
