There isn't an SDM version of this in Pentax mount
This lens is the latest 30mm 1.4 that was available in Pentax mount. It is the same as the HSM version, but HSM was never available for Pentax. I bought it early April and it has been discontinued soon after.

It was great but too big for me, although you get that strange feeling of satisfaction pulling something like that out of your bag.
I picked up a DA* 50-135 and I prefer that portability.
