I managed to buy the K20 with 16-45 lens for less than £780 and then got the £100 cash back. I know I got a good deal as the seller has now increased the price to well over £1300

Just taken delivery of my nice new K20 + 16-45mm and thought it was a good time to join the forum. hopefully learn more about photography with my new camera. I like the weight of the K20,it feels solid and very robust
Also have a Leica V Lux 1 which I use on my walks
I will be buying a spare battery as soon as someone points me in the right direction.
Then a zoom lens to compliment the wide angled lens I already have

I thought the microglobe ones were genuine so to get them for £29.99 is a bargain Obviously if not genuine its another story
Is there a compatibility issue using the copy batteries or not. I know that there is a problem with the NIKON D80 and maybe others when using copy batteries

Well, of course, it doesn't.

The same kit is available from SRS right now for £895.00, and you can then apply for £100 cashback.

G
Sorry should have said the price increase was at one particular shop

Well, yesterday or the day before I was going to purchase the K20D from SRS online, at £799 - Pentax K20D, 18-55MKII, Grip.
My parent said that they wanted me to wait till a cheque cleared first (I'm very eager to get it, I've just sold my K100D+18-55)
So today I went on the SRS site and the price of the kit lens has shot up £35 so now the deal is £835!!
How come this has happened? Will it drop back down soon?

[edit]
Also, the battery grip does come with a battery? Its not just a grip and they are expecting you to shell out £40 on a battery too are they?
