Interesting image this - I found myself tilting my head to try to look at it in portrait format. Also bit of a figure / ground reversal between the mudflats and piers. Like the 50 /50 divide in framing. Works well.

I like both this and the other version. I think the 'dark' exposure works well and is where its strength lies as it causes an initial ambiguity as to whether it is a day or night shot. I think the light on the stones of the trail is really well captured and we get to see a little more of that in this version. Well done.

Now that's certainly got something about it.I was going to suggest shaving a sliver off the top, but now I'm not so sure....

I like it a lot,perfect composition and the sharp symmetry broken by the runner. Plus, as Andrew says, well balanced exposure.
