More gin vicar?

Happy Christmas everyone, I'm currently trying Edinburgh Rhubarb and ginger gin with tonic...

...(hic! Burp!!!)...

....sorry.

Nice, and goes well with good chocolate.

In the run up to Christmas, well more like a short sprint now, I finally found a prezzie for Mrs HG.

She now has her shed and buys what she wants when she sees it, but she can't find a security light.

Guess what she's getting...

Interest rates at 5%

That was a long time ago, just about the time I started to save for retirement...

.......got a lot put on one side and it earned less in interest than a missed VISA bill!

I ask you £25 for a missed payment?

Still, I got it back when I pointed out that I always pay in full and the bill must have got lost in the Xmas post (3 years ago this happened)

Oh well, I think the 'sheep need attending...

Go on rub it in...

I can't afford to retire, but that's political so I'll just have another beer to drown.

Black Sheep tonight, only £1.29 at ALDI.

Sorry, to drown my sorrows

Not really Barrie, after all beer's just yeast grain and water, a sort of runny bread...

Sorry I'm late on this thread but...

For my 3'apporth I use an AGFA Rondinax 35 daylight developing tank.

I get bulk film, load cassettes in a dark bag then following the instructions develop in the Rondinax.

Ilford chemicals (readily available) do the job ok, and after developing I scan into the computer.

I started developing my own film as an easy way of testing old cameras, and sort off kept going.

As an aside, I'm currently using Ilfosol S that's 2 years out of date, it's been kept cold and still does the job!

I'd forgotten the batteries, there's still some old yellow ones in the kitchen clock!

Recently I've been grating fresh ginger root into a glass before adding the ice, G'n'T. Nice refreshing drink, even if a little chewy...

Our current kitchen is a bespoke custom one, courtesy of a good friend who managed a supplier.

It fit well, even though it metric in an imperial house with no square corners.

Full wall units give ample room for all that booze...

....er...

.... kitchen stuff you didn't know you needed

Jag älskar IKEA

Their food is great, fleece throws comfy and light bulbs good value.

More gin anybody?
