Thanks all, I'm not too worried at the moment, that time will come if my unit, which is moving to a new directorate, is deemed 'over staffed' (fat chance, we're running with 3 vacancies from a compliment of 14!)or they try cutting my wage.

Then it'll be panic time.

might have to start on the home brew again
Sounds like a good idea now I've got a spare bedroom.

Welcome, and before you ask yes you can use your old KA mount lenses on the K-5 (and any other Pentax body come to that!)

We don't waste drinking time with songs Stefan.

On a sad note, I, along with all but one of the other council employees in Bradford have been issued with a 188 notice.

That means that in 90 days I could be out of a job, still it'll give me more time to take photos.

Er George, where are you?

With a list like that you should be in the Highlands but your supposed to be in the London area!

It can't get that bad there surely?

The BBC keep talking about snow in the UK on Wednesday.

Other sites I've looked at seem to think not.

I don't mind a bit of cold but if it snows and I'm out 'till 9.00 in the evening working then it's gonna get interesting.

Just putting the potatoes on to go with the bacon joint I cooked on the stove earlier today, might have some mushy peas as well.

If you want to try a rangefinder you could always try an Olympus XA.

They slip into the pocket and are a joy to use.

I keep looking at FED IIs but don't seem to trust the russianvendors.

I should, if I can get film from Hong Kong why should I worry about Russia?

If you find a Bessa at the right price, after learning how it works, you should get good results.

Just a thought, for 120 films you can get one of these CLICKY LINK which makes developing easier.

Going to give my good lady a lemsip now, she's down with 'man flu'

EDIT: This ones a better bet.

Perfectly sober when bidding, more's the shame!

Total cost for all 3 and a Kodak44A (127 film camera) was £15 inc postage. At these prices I an afford to play.

Welcome back Gwyn, sorry to hear about your sad loss.
