We almost came to a standstill last week on a French motorway under similar conditions.

I'll say this for our cousins across the channel, they're much better drivers on fast roads than some of the idiots we have here. in all the miles we covered on the motorways we didn't see one accident, yet here only ten minutes of the ferry we were in standing traffic on the A64 dual carriage way.

Seems two cars had had a little shunt and the police closed the road off to investigate!!!

Oh, and the M62 was closed due to sand on the road, that and the lorry carrying it parked through the central barrier!

Lovely British roads...

It was unloaded from a builders bag by hand, wheel barrowed up the side of the house and stacked by hand...

...I hasten to add that this has happened many times since.

Hard luck Gwyn.

If I'd known the dog needed walking I'd have turned left to the Netherlands rather than right to Zeebrugge yesterday.

Still, I'm home now and all the relaxation will dissolve in despair as I start work tomorrow!

Pointless?!!

How can I, of all people forget that?

For any body in France, it looks like Pentax France are doing a cash back on all new K5 options.

Don't know if it's a good deal but still.

Now I'm back in the UK I'm getting depressed again, I caught the news, libya, greece, and all the other stuff...

... I want to go back into limbo abroad!!!

That's the road that climbs to over 2800m above sea level...

...Monte Carlo last Sunday to this to day...

...I love my holidays in France, having a very good driver helps.
