I was stubbornly pentax. i decided to buy an slr and i searched photo.net for information in 1998. there i decided to go manual lenses, primes, k-mount and a tripod. i went to a nearby city for shopping. after looking around i went to a big photo shop where the owner insisted me taking an autofocus canon slr with a zoom but i had taken my decisions so he sold me a cosina k mount manual c2 camera with a 50mm lens and a cheap tripod. the camera came with no box or manual but i was young, stubborn and happy. later on, i found out i could not focus correctly, but i did not know if it was caused by my poor eyesight or the camera. though i tried to compensate with small apertures and a bit of front focus my focus was generally slightly off. i would have been better served by an auto everything canon as the shop owner had suggested. this camera which is still in my closet was replaced many years later (200 with k100d because i already had some mf lenses and i wanted to keep using them. anyway i seldomly did because the kit lens was good enough for a former film user. now i use a k1, a canon cheap compact and an lg android phone.

they arrived safe today. thank you very much.
