Luckily the closest fires to myself are around 400Kms away.
The smoke did affect me somewhat where we couldn't work for 2 day last week.
I work in construction and the air quality was at "Hazardous" so we sat in the sheds for 2 days waiting for the smoke to clear (full pay).
Some other job sites had people working and some of them were coughing up blood and some were taken to hospital. I am glad i was kept inside.

I have been a Pentax user for around 3 years now. In that time, I have started to collect Pentax film and digital cameras & lenses. I have 12 film SLR cameras, 5 digital (1 point and shoot 4 DSLR).
I have fallen in love with my K-70 and have owned it for almost 12 months with over 30,000 clicks so far.
I am happy to have finally become part of the "Pentax User" community.
