Everyone has been to a swimming wood floor grates at least a few times in our lifetime. I am sure you have noticed trench grating around the perimeter of the swimming pools.

Water in a swimming pool needs to be constantly circulated through a filtering system to remove debris and dirt. In a swimming pool filtration system, water flows to the filters through various drains found at the bottom of the pool (the lowest point).

At the top of the pool are pool drains that continously drain water (debris such as twigs and leaves) from the pool. In order to avoid people from getting hurt by the pool drains around the pool, pool drain covers (known as pool grates or pool gratings) are employed to cover the pool drains.

Swimming pools are no longer seen simply as an amenity; today they are part of an attractive landscape. With its natural attractiveness and suitability superior to natural granite, Jonite creates the perfect pool grates. Jonite grates have excellent slip resistance, making it safe for both children and adults especially in frequently wet areas.
