Possibly my favourite but I keep changing my mind. I have been to or near these Lochs and moors but it was way back in the 1970's. I must go back next year, or looking at these even this winter!

Unfortunately my views come from a standpoint of sheer jealousy! The whole lot are just simply stunning. I must learn how to do good landscapes because I love raw nature like this. I suppose Scotland does edge out Basildon but we have some lovely views of the Thames Estuary:wink:. I always like to put a bit of foreground in like this. But just not to sound too sycophantic the grass and heather ...

Yes, great shot and difficult to get in the open at the best of times.

Lovely landscape. Don't know if there is any HDR involved but it looks great with plenty of drama.

Yep, it's been a tricky year. Didn't see one Brown Argus on a local site where there were plenty last year. This is a cracker though.

Great shot David. Did you get wet? Bet you were glad of the K-5 WR or is that why you decided you needed the 18-55 WR ;-)

Very nice. Good DOF on the antennae.

Beautifully taken. Could it really be improved with a K5 or K-30, I doubt it?
