It does look heraldic Roger. Love the detailed Gadwall plumage glowing in the light. An under rated duck in my opinion.

Brilliantly understated. Hard to beat that for a Robin shot.

Enchanting pic david. Was there some HDR involved?

Nice composition Stan. What do you think of the lens so far? I've got it and think it is a classic Jack of all trades master of none. By that though I mean it is really good at doing what it is meant to - covering a wide range in a small compact lens at acceptable quality. Perfect for travelling I think.

A lovely winter scene. The tree outline follows the hills.
Are they buds I can see on those branches or is the K3 deceiving me ;-)

Cracking Goldfinch rendition. Can't match the quality of that with my 150-500!

Yes, such a shame. If it didn't affect so many people so badly it would a lovely shot.

Is that the new breach through the shingle from the Storm?

Beautiful shot of a region I visited a lot in my younger years. Might be able to get up there at a push but my knees wouldn't get me down that's for sure.:(

Excellent. Like the composition and the rays from behind the sun.
