Immaculate Pentax 16-45mm lens for sale. Still in box never used.
I bought this from a pro shop last year to cover another lens in for repair. However it was not needed and so it has stayed in the box. It seems a shame for it not to have a loving home
Given the condition the price is £130 including postage. Bank transfer or Paypal (buyer pays fees)

If you search through the PU archives you will find many threads on this. The consensus usually is its a personal thing!!!
As far as I understand modern lenses are not affected by UV as the optics can handle it. The reason many people use a filter is to 'protect the lens'. However there have been cases of filters damaging the lens when they get broken. The hood is often thought to protect the lens better.

Thanks for the explanation. It all makes sense now. I think that the sparrow is great.
It seems to cope better than the bigma. Upgrade wish list time.

I like the tightness of the side framing. But I hink that there is too much space above the flower.

I like this . especially with all the ghostly orchids in the background.
I have always found it difficult to take shots like these as the there is such a range of depth in the plants and the individual elements make depth of field very difficult.
