I still do a bit of photography commercially, but I'm a dispatch manager now. So I don't need three models (with different lenses).
I managed to make a reasonable living from photography and the 645 really stood out from the snappers and gave the client confidence. But it was getting a bit sketchy with summer work very scarce, plus I'm no businessman, so I decided to go for an actual wage

Managed to hang on to the beautiful Zed for a bit.
But I've got a 'proper' job now, so it's up for grabs again!
The entire kit is about to go to a dealer and he is suggesting £4,500 for everything,

It's amazing! My favourite camera to use and to just hold. Much nicer than the K1 to carry around surprisingly. I will be really sad to see it go. But go it must.
The picture quality is just sublime. I can't even begin to describe luscious images or the feeling of seeing an enourmous print of a tiny spider or a beautiful portrait and walking right up to it with no loss of detail.

I still can't find anything out there. I can't believe Pentax hasn't come up with a radio trigger. I need it almost every time I shoot an event, but just have to make do with on-camera flash or reflectors and an assistant

Just to update this; I shortened the cat5e cable to about 3 metres and it worked sometimes, but was unreliable.
This type of cable is not ideal as I am leaving all but one of the pairs twisted (less resistance) and using the last pair untwisted, so really that's the weak link and essentially it's behaving like it's all single cores.
I'll buy some more suitable cable as above, and try again. Watch this space...

I've just extended my curly (annoying) HSS cable using Cat5 network cable.
My guess is there must be a limit to the length I can go due to voltage drop and speeds etc. but I went with the entire length - about 10m I think.
It didn't work. It fires as a normal flash but won't fire above sync speed (as if it isn't a HSS flash).
Anybody know how long a HSS cable can be?
